The Ontario Open Fiddle and Step Dance Contest is a non-profit community-run project. This volunteer-run organization conducts this event annually to preserve this pioneer cultural art form and to raise money for worthy charities and programs.
In the past, they have donated to the Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Association for Children with Learning Disabilities, as well as local elementary school breakfast and lunch programs.
The weekend events are open to the public and they invite the community to join them in 2024 as they celebrate their 54th year, July 24-27, 2024!
The 2021 Fiddle & Stepdance Contest was held VIRTUALLY for the 51st Contest!
Categories were PREMIERED on YouTube July 22-24 and remain active for viewers to watch at anytime.
